Eating

It is proven that the amount and type of food you eat has a major influence on your health. Eating a well-balanced diet can and does reduce your risk of various diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, stroke, osteoporosis, etc.

It is not just what you eat but also how you eat. It is important to think about food as nourishment rather than just something to gobble down in between meetings, at a corner of a desk or on the way to pick up the children.

No matter what age you are, it is never too late to make some changes and improve your eating habits. We all have an idea on what a healthy diet is and what we should be eating. But, with the constant pressure and fast pace of our busy lifestyles, we sometimes neglect to eat a healthy diet.

During the initial consultation, some information about your lifestyle and also a food diary will be collected. You will get a diet and nutrition assessment with appropriate advice on what to eat, how much and when. How you live your life is about making the right choices - you might decide to receive only information on healthy eating.

Let’s follow the advice of Hippocrates who is considered as the “Father of Medicine”: “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food”.
